Since 2004, Shannon Sheppard has concentrated her practice in the area of commercial real estate transactions.  Before joining Smolker, Bartlett, Loeb, Hinds, & Sheppard P.A., Ms. Sheppard practiced law at an “AmLaw 100” law firm in Atlanta, Georgia and worked in-house for a public REIT.  Ms. Sheppard represents developers in the acquisition, disposition, financing, development and leasing of office, retail and industrial properties, single-family subdivisions and multi-family developments.  She also represents borrowers and lenders in acquisition, construction and permanent financing transactions.  She has significant experience in forming real estate businesses, including joint ventures.
