TAMPA, FL (AUGUST, 2015) - Smolker, Bartlett, Loeb, Hinds & Thompson, P.A. is pleased to announce that R. Clay Mathews has joined the Firm.
Mr. Mathews will be assigned to the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He has both transactional and litigation experience in such areas as Banking/Foreclosure, Insurance Defense, employment and lease agreements. Prior to joining Smolker Bartlett, he was in private practice with a Tampa-based firm and previously served as a judicial intern for the Honorable James S. Moody, United States District Judge, the Honorable Catherine Peek McEwen, United States Bankruptcy Judge and the Honorable Mark A. Pizzo, United States Magistrate Judge.
Mathews received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and subsequent thereto, earned his Masters of Arts in International Business from the Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida. Clay then earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
